How can I promote my listing and how can I attract more prospective clients in eLands?

There are a number of ways to promote your listing on eLands. Here below are the steps one can take to increase the visibility of his/her listing on eLands.

 1. The first step is to create a good title followed by an accurate list of amenities to best describe your space. Put yourself in the place of your clients and think what they would be looking for. The more amenities you offer, the more reason you give your clients to book or buy your property.

2. The second step is to set a competitive nightly rate (rentals) / selling price (property for sale). Before inserting any prices we advise you to check out the prices of your competitors. We understand that most of the time the price reflects the various factors like location and property condition. You should keep in mind that most clients restrain the number of property and rentals searched within their budget.

3. The third step is to fully complete each section of your eLands profile followed by all the information needed regarding your listing. It is vitally important to show all the requested information for it will attract you more clients. Last but not least is to upload high-quality photos. Make sure to upload the right photos that give a good warm welcoming feeling. There is no harm to ask for advice from experts, depending on your area eLands can provide photographers/ editors and advisers in such matters. Simply send a request with your inquiry to our dedicated eLands Support team.

4. The fourth step is to "share", ‘’like’’ and ‘’tweet’’ your own listing on all your social media like Facebook and Twitter. There are a lot of other free exposures out there, like creating a blog with the link to your listing or simply asking friends to make good comments about your listing.

What does the room type of a listing mean?

One can find a wide variety of listings types on eLands but when it comes to listings for let (rent) all listings are categorized into the following three types:

Shared rooms are for you if you don't mind sharing a space with others for a comfy, communal experience. With a shared room, you're sharing the entire space with another person or persons. These rooms work best for the flexible traveler looking for a budget-friendly stay.

Private rooms are for you if you prefer privacy yet still value a local connection, often around a third of the cost of a hotel room. With a private room, you're sharing some spaces with others, but you have your own private space as well. Wake up to greet your new friends in the kitchen and have the freedom to bid them adieu at bedtime.

Entire homes/apartments are for you if you are seeking a home away from home with complete privacy and the freedom to kick your feet up. With an entire home/apartment, you've got the whole space to yourself. Be your own host, make your own breakfast, and remember to treat your listing with the respect and courtesy you would at your own home.

You can see a listing's room type in the listing's Description tab.
